Established in Newport, South Wales in 1975. Interests in both HF and VHF and all forms of technology

Thanks to the generosity of Brynglas House Community Centre, NARS has a purpose built self-contained shack in one corner of the meeting room which means that radio activity is available at any time.

Newport Amateur Radio Society meet every Friday during the school term from 7pm to 9pm at

Access is via Junction 26 from the M4 Motorway, head into Newport and turn left after the

Lyceum Tavern Pub ( about 200 yds ). Brynglas House is at the top of the hill on the right.

 

There is also a 60ft tower within the ground of the centre which holds both HF and VHF antennas.
